Flexpac was founded in Sydney in 2024 by Steve Taylor, bringing with him four generations of family experience in personal care and cosmetic manufacturing.

Growing up in Durban, South Africa, Steven spent much of his childhood in and around the family personal care manufacturing business. With a mechanical engineer for a father, he developed a love for machinery, problem-solving and making things work from an early age. That passion eventually led him to study mechanical engineering and, in 2008, start his own cosmetic and personal care contract manufacturing business.

After moving to Sydney with his wife and three daughters in 2022, Steve saw an opportunity to build something new. Flexpac was born from a desire to focus on an area he has always been passionate about, flexible packaging, while creating the kind of manufacturing business he would want to work with himself.

For Steve, it’s always been about more than machines and packaging. It’s about people, relationships and great service.
